The picture above so perfectly fits and describes my story—uphill, downhill, round and round, exciting, and scary, bright spots and dark spots. My “joyful journey” has sometimes been an amazing thrill ride and sometimes just a big downward spiral! But, the emotional, mental, and physical struggles are all part of the story, and through it all, I see clear reflections of God’s amazing grace.

Popped out on March 1st!

It turned out to be a beautiful day -- what a nice way to welcome in the month of March! I ran errands, enjoying being out and about in the sunshine, coming home just in time to catch my cat watching a squirrel lunching at the feeder. While watching Pretzel watch the squirrel, I noticed a crocus was finally in full bloom! Not just one, but three! So, I just had to grab my camera. Quickly walking out into my yard, I almost scared away the robin that was sitting right next to the crocus I was about to take a picture of! He cautiously moved away just a bit as I readied the camera, but, fortunately, not out of view of the camera lens. Yup, spring has finally sprung in my yard!

Thank you for this post Jeannie. This is something we will only see in April I'm sure. Right now it looks like we live in the Artic! It feels like it also. I am really looking forward to the spring flowers and green grass. But spring "Will Come"!?? Eventually. Humm???
