The picture above so perfectly fits and describes my story—uphill, downhill, round and round, exciting, and scary, bright spots and dark spots. My “joyful journey” has sometimes been an amazing thrill ride and sometimes just a big downward spiral! But, the emotional, mental, and physical struggles are all part of the story, and through it all, I see clear reflections of God’s amazing grace.

Merry Christmas!

That's what I heard from my husband in the middle of the night last night. I quietly mumbled, "Merry Christmas" in reply and quickly fell back asleep. When I got up this morning I discovered that winter had arrived in the night! Everything was beautifully blanketed in white! Our second snow of the entire winter (first one was just before Christmas), and this one arrives in the middle of March -- just a week and a half before the start of Spring -- when the crocusses and daffodils are blooming! Even now,
as I write this, it's snowing -- big, fluffy flakes filling the air and earth
with white. What a lovely sight! What pure delight!

What a beautiful sight! And just in time for your Grandkids. They should enjoy it. However, please DON'T send any of that our way--we don't want it.

Aren't digital cameras fun???
