How about if you come and spend a rainy day with me, okay?Tell ya what . . . bring your bathing suit and sunglasses! I'll turn up the heat to a comfortably warm temperature that mimics summer, and turn on all the lights in the house so it will appear to be bright and sunny. (Don't worry, we'll lather on the sun block, just to be on the safe side!) For those of you who like to play in the water, I'll fill the bathtub and toss in some beach toys! Then we'll turn on some nice Hawaiian music, sip on some wonderful, exotic, tropical drinks (virgin, if you prefer), and pretend we're in Hawaii! Sound good? C'mon over!
If we get bored, we'll grab some unbrellas and go for a walk in the rain--bare-footed, in our bathing suits and sunglasses, of course! (That should give the neighbors something to laugh at.) Any takers? Aw, c'mon now... Where's your sense of adventure? It will be great fun, I promise!

Looks to me like the rain cloud is hanging over Portland for a looooong time. We have not had the typical "Michigan" winter. In fact, there is no snow on the ground at all. We have had some rain--today is just cloudy and is supposed to get up into the 40's. I just know that we will get "hit with snow" one of these days. We had a great visit with Doug and Sarah, Chris, Justin, Brandon and Rachel. The girls all loved their purple Hawiian dresses and Brandon his orange/gold shirt. They danced the hula for all of us, and then spent the afternoon in our basement playing Hawaii king and queens. They rearranged all my yard sale stuff and had fun "decorating their home." What imaginations kids have. Hope you have a beautiful day in spite of the weather. Love ya, Sandy
Looks bad. We've had mild and snow but too cold for rain (most of the time). But the Lord is just as present in "reality!"
I'll take the walk in the rain hanging onto my rubber duckie in anticipation for a bathtub splash.Of course you might need your umbrella if your standing too close,one with the rainbow colors in it.
