The picture above so perfectly fits and describes my story—uphill, downhill, round and round, exciting, and scary, bright spots and dark spots. My “joyful journey” has sometimes been an amazing thrill ride and sometimes just a big downward spiral! But, the emotional, mental, and physical struggles are all part of the story, and through it all, I see clear reflections of God’s amazing grace.

Here this weekend...

Our "adopted" grandchildren

Rachel, 10
......Nik, 8

..............Josh, 7
Caleb, 5

We have them every other weekend, Friday at lunch time until Saturday afternoon. This time they were here until 9:30 PM on Saturday because we were celebrating Josh's 7th birthday. Mom and Dad (Tiffany and Erik) came for dinner and birthday cake. They are great kids, and what a crazy, fun, noisy time it makes for when they spend the weekend here!

So those little "Grandkids" would be 20, 18, 17, and 15 now! Not sure how many weekends you did that for but they will never forget! It was one of the doing it "through you" things that your last post talked about!

The kids are cute in the picture but I also couldn't help but notice the RED paint on the curbs! Whoever had the courage to do that must have been driven by a personal curb incident in their life-experience! Wow!
