The picture above so perfectly fits and describes my story—uphill, downhill, round and round, exciting, and scary, bright spots and dark spots. My “joyful journey” has sometimes been an amazing thrill ride and sometimes just a big downward spiral! But, the emotional, mental, and physical struggles are all part of the story, and through it all, I see clear reflections of God’s amazing grace.

Sailin' Through Life!

Yesterday was one of those favorite summertime pleasures -- sailing with our friends, Bennie & Debbie, on their 30 foot Catalina sailboat!
It was a gorgeous, perfect-sailing-weather kind of day -- beautiful warm sunshine with good wind! We've been friends for about 8 years now and we always have such a good time with them -- whether sailing or just hangin' out -- it's always a treat to get together with them!



Today marks our 36th anniversary of sailing through life as husband and wife - teamed together with God at the helm! WOO HOO -- What a ride! No regrets -- if I had to make the choice all over again -- I'd choose this partnership again! Larry is still the man of my dreams and the love of my life!
