The picture above so perfectly fits and describes my story—uphill, downhill, round and round, exciting, and scary, bright spots and dark spots. My “joyful journey” has sometimes been an amazing thrill ride and sometimes just a big downward spiral! But, the emotional, mental, and physical struggles are all part of the story, and through it all, I see clear reflections of God’s amazing grace.

A Nice Little Get-Away

Since Larry is now officially unemployed, we decided to spend a few days over at the coast. The weather was perfect, the scenery beautiful, and the time away was just simply delightful!

Great scenery & a wonderful way to rest in the Lord as you await the decision for Larry's future.

Cape Lookout was one of our favorite places to go.

Glad to see you were able to get away. Scenery looks beautiful. Enjoy camping because soon it will be too cold for it. Bill and I continue to pray for a job for Larry. Hopefully he is able to get some prospects. I have been reading your blogs "on the fly". We have been in and out. Will soon be sending you a new email (compliments of comcast--as soon as I install it). Have a great day.
