The picture above so perfectly fits and describes my story—uphill, downhill, round and round, exciting, and scary, bright spots and dark spots. My “joyful journey” has sometimes been an amazing thrill ride and sometimes just a big downward spiral! But, the emotional, mental, and physical struggles are all part of the story, and through it all, I see clear reflections of God’s amazing grace.

Hey Jeannie, It's cousin Wendy. Just read all your blogs about Larry's surgery. Sorry to hear that you ALL had to go through that but praise the Lord for the outcome! Surgery is no stranger to us: youngest daughter, Hannah-snow mobile accident in '01 - 5 surgeries; myself-bladder cancer- 3 surgeries, oldest daughter, Autumn-brain tumors - 2 surgeries; husband, Gary- heart attack in Jan. '07-praise the Lord, just a stent!;and this month, youngest son,Jordan-appendectomy!! Take care of yourself and your patient and I'm so glad that he is doing well. I will be praying for both of you.
