Since this month celebrates Valentines Day, here's a paraphrase on the "Love Chapter" in the Bible (I Corinthians 13). This is not for someone else. This is for me. This is also for you. Read it as for you alone. It is not here for the benefit of "someone else".

Love never gives up--it is patient and kind--never rude.
Love cares more for others than for self--it isn't always "me first."
Love doesn't force itself on others by demanding it's own way.
Love is not irritable--it doesn't "fly off the handle."
Love doesn't want what it doesn't have--it is never jealous.
Love doesn't show off to others--it is never boastful.
Love doesn't have a "swelled head"--it is not proud.
Love takes pleasure in the flowering of truth--
it rejoices when the truth comes out.
Love does not take intense pleasure or satisfaction
when others grovel in their humility.
Love doesn't keep track of the wrongs of others--it never looks back.
Love puts up with anything--it endures through every circumstance.
Love always looks for the best--it is always hopeful.
Love trusts God always--it never loses faith.
Love keeps going to the end--it never dies.
