The picture above so perfectly fits and describes my story—uphill, downhill, round and round, exciting, and scary, bright spots and dark spots. My “joyful journey” has sometimes been an amazing thrill ride and sometimes just a big downward spiral! But, the emotional, mental, and physical struggles are all part of the story, and through it all, I see clear reflections of God’s amazing grace.

So Many Things God Tells Me

On Friday, September 30 at 12:15 A.M., God said to me:
(through the words of the Apostle Paul)

Jeannie, "In everything you do, stay away from complaining and arguing, so that no one can speak a word of blame against you. 

You are to live a clean, innocent life as a child of God, in a dark world full of crooked and perverse people.  Let your life shine brightly before them.  Hold tightly to the Word of Life."

On Friday, September 30 at 10:35 A.M., God gave me this reminder:

"We are human [that's the Apostle Paul speaking], but we don't wage war [against the enemy of our soul] using human plans and methods.  We use God's mighty weapons, not mere worldly weapons, to knock down the devil's strongholds."
